Conclusion
Making the Roblox game has taught me a lot about finding resources, planning, and user experience. My mind has expanded learning how to find the resources. The system and game structure in Roblox made me think hard about ways to achieve the same purpose with what I have in mind. Planning the game to be bug and error-free was tough, but I had to do my best to look into every single detail for every single error. The user experience was a great challenge for the content. Making the game environment enjoyable and challenging was tough. With the game being very new and no information at all for me, I did my best to think of every single possibility to achieve the best possible game environment. Through many trials, errors, and experimenting, the process took me a long time but also strengthened my game-making knowledge. Overall, it was a great experience for the assignment. Having my friends test the Roblox game has given me positive reviews, some even thought of playing the real “treasure hunt” game that they used to play. It was a satisfying moment for me knowing that my game has led them to think back to what they used to play years ago. With the current advanced gaming technology, gameplay with boards and dice is becoming rarer. This might be a small virtual content for the game, but being able to gather a few players and spend some quality time playing a simple game created by me was pleasing.
